About CHP Manitoba

CHP Manitoba is the provincial arm of the Christian Heritage Party of Canada.

This site also helps you connect with the national Electoral District Associations (EDA’s) (ridings) that are operating here in Manitoba.

EDA’s:

Jerome Dondo, District Manager, CHP Portage-Lisgar

JeromeI am a self-employed Certified General Accountant who has been working with First Nation Reserves for the last 15 years.

I purchased a membership in the CHP in 2005 after being in a riding where David Reimer ran and I got interested in the fact that there was a political party who were willing to uphold their Christian values in the political atmosphere.

In 2006 I saw the importance of becoming more involved with the party – I was living in Northwestern Ontario at that time and our riding did not have a CHP candidate to vote for.

In 2007, I moved back to Manitoba and began attending the provincial council meetings, and eventually accepted the position as the provincial prayer co-ordinator.  In 2009 I was elected as the Chief Operating Officer of the Portage-Lisgar riding.  Both positions I continue to hold today.

I ran as a candidate in 2008 in Brandon-Souris, 2010 in the Dauphin-Swan River- Marquette by-election, and 2011 as the Portage-Lisgar candidate.

I live in my hometown of St. Claude, Manitoba with my wife and our eight children, one of whom is to be born in August of this year.
